Autopublisher

Setup Guide

Configure autopublisher for your announcement channels.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • At least one Announcement Channel in your server
  • Manage Server permission
  • RankBreaker has Manage Messages permission in the channel
Note
Announcement channels have a megaphone icon 📣 next to their name. You can create one by editing a channel and setting its type to "Announcement Channel."

1 Open Autopublisher Settings

Run the autopublisher command to open the configuration panel:

Discord Command
/autopublisher

Opens the interactive autopublisher setup panel

You'll see a panel showing your current configuration with buttons to add channels, manage existing ones, and toggle the feature on/off.

2 Add an Announcement Channel

Click the ➕ Add Channel button. You'll see a dropdown menu with all available announcement channels.

💡 Tip: Only channels where RankBreaker has the required permissions will appear in the dropdown.

Select a channel from the dropdown, and it will be added to your autopublisher configuration.

3 Verify It's Working

Once configured, any message sent in the announcement channel will be automatically published (crossposted) to all followers.

Tip
Send a test message in your announcement channel to verify autopublisher is working. You should see the "Published" badge appear on your message.

Session Timeout

The autopublisher setup panel has a 1-minute timeout. If you don't interact with the panel within 1 minute, you'll need to run the command again.

Warning
You can only have one active autopublisher session at a time. If you try to run the command while a session is active, you'll need to wait for it to expire.
